Children's Saturday - Language of Fungi

We are all part of a greater whole.

Part of an interconnected world. What if that world has a language? - The Language of Fungi.

It teems and travels. Through the earth and through the air. We meet in the movement between you and me.

4.5 billion years ago, fungi paved the way for all life on Earth.

Via its spores and its underground network of threads, the fungus sends messages between trees and plants, linking nature together.

The performance is a sensory and sparkling dance experience in the wonderful world of mushrooms that wants to awaken joy, community and togetherness.

We let movements travel between dancers and audience, like a network of mycelium, and the audience becomes part of the performance from the start. Language of Fungi wants to inspire to work further with issues around nature, environment and belonging.

 

Target group: From 6 years (but also 4 - 5 year olds are welcome)
